What began as experimentation in the ‘70s is still a passionate exploration of inner thoughts…intellectual, spiritual, and emotional. The creative process, as I experience it, is a mix of openness to the widest possible degree:  My thoughts, emotions, spiritual senses are all allowed to flow freely via color and texture while paradoxically forcing myself to focus on the process of painting while I do it.  The completed work, if successful, will engender similar states in the viewer but in the viewer’s own emotional and spiritual vocabulary.
